A solid German restaurant with a pleasant vibe. It’s located in a basement of an old building and the atmosphere is quite warm and cozy, nice decor. The food is very good and not too greasy, unlike the super heavy food I’ve had in most German restaurants. The portions are extremely generous, so they have smaller size options for each dish, which is great. Actually, I can recommend the smaller portions, which are more than sufficient. The staff members are very polite and friendly. Prices are ok. Highly recommended.

This place has very good, honoust German cuisine. The owner and the waiter were very friendly. There is a big choice of food and there are several vegetarian options. They also have an extensive wine list (mostly german wine). We had the Mosel Riesling which was very good. We will definitely be visiting here again when we're in the neighbourhood!

If you are in town this place is the most agreeable in terms of taste and tradition. The servants are so gentle and charm and the simple wines very good.

Erdinger Wheat beer was very nice. There is two option one is normal beer and another is dark beer. I would say dark one is the best. Ambience and the interior decoration is very nice. They properly maintained a old German structure. And I don’t want to say anything about the food. It’s just awesome. The decoration, taste all is very good. Service is also very good. In whole Oldenburg I think this is the only place where you can find authentic German food. It’s bit costly but it’s okk with the food quality. I would say atleast every international guest should try this out.

Good restaurant in the very centre of Oldenburg. Typical food very well cooked and abundant. Absolutely suggested, gut gemacht!
